Our Seacoast
... which easily can include 30-40 area towns, has been recognized consistently in local as well as national polls, as one of the BEST PLACES in which to live. That recognition, which is well founded, has driven many to our area. Couple this with a general trend for Massachusetts residents to seek somewhat less expensive living "across the state line", and an image of a relatively Tax Free State [NH has no sales or income tax], and one can understand why the Seacoast has consistently been a great area in which to invest in real estate.
But the beauty of this area is why they stay. The towns have remained relatively small and quaint. Many private and higher educational institutions augment solid, well established public schools.
There is also a kaleidoscope of options for real estate investment. We have towns offering historical properties over 4 centuries old as well as new town homes with the latest conveniences. Our extensive waterways offer frontage, views and access to ocean, marshes, rivers, ponds and lakes. We are within an hour to Boston or Portland, Maine; less than an hour to skiing, major lakes and mountains, with air, train and bus service easily accessible.
